Job Details We are currently seeking an eager driven Hospital Supply Chain Coordinator to join our established Indianapolis team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the management of our hospital supply chain operations, ensuring the seamless and efficient flow of medical supplies and equipment. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission of delivering top-tier healthcare services. Responsibilities: As a Hospital Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be tasked with the following duties: 1. Visit all area hospitals to coordinate with clinical staff and implement new processes and establish updated systems within the hospital. 2. Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. 3. Collaborate with clinicians to ensure supplies are well maintained and appropriately handled. 4. Supervise the freight and fulfillment processes, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of supplies. 5. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital supply chain, ensuring that all medical supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals are procured, stored, and distributed efficiently. 6. Implement and maintain supply chain management software and systems to enhance visibility and control over the supply chain. 7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, clinicians, and other stakeholders. 8. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including those related to healthcare, procurement, and inventory management. 9. Train, supervise, and evaluate supply chain staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Hospital Supply Chain Supervisor position should possess the following qualifications: 1. A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification will be an added advantage. 2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the healthcare industry. 3. Proficiency in supply chain management software and systems. 4. Strong understanding of freight and fulfillment processes. 5. Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 6. Proven ability to lead and manage a team. 7. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. 8. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical procurement practices. 9. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks concurrently. 10. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and improve supply chain performance.
