Job Title: Behavioral Healthcare Provider 1 Profession:

- 3:30 PM Experience: Minimum experience required License: Licensed
Chemical Dependency Counselor II (LCDC II) or Licensed Chemical
Dependency Counselor III (LCDC III) or Licensed Independent
Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) Certifications: None
specified Must-Have: Valid licensure Description: Provides alcohol
and drug counseling and other ancillary services to inmates on
assigned caseload. Completes intake assessments, treatment plans,
progress notes, and discharge planning for inmates. Coordinates
with other treatment services for the purpose of individualized
treatment planning, utilizing a coordinated treatment approach.
Monitors attendance and participation progress of inmates in
substance abuse programs. Reviews case files and termination of
program participation. Provides continuing care planning.
Intervenes in crisis situations. Reviews inmate files for program
admission consideration and treatment planning. Contacts
appropriate authorities regarding inmate activities. Develops and
coordinates substance abuse programming for inmates as
assigned.
