Job Description Job Title: Part time Physician Location: London OH 43140 Duration: 3 months to Long term Shift: 08:00am-04:30pm (M-F) Days/week: 2 Weekdays/week Hours/week: 16-20 Hours/week Job description: Searching for a physician who is board-eligible or board-certified in internal medicine, family medicine, or emergency medicine and who is experienced in primary care to provide part-time on-site services to the male population at this facility. Schedule is 2 weekday shifts/week: no evenings, weekends, or holidays. There is some flexibility in start/end times based on needs of facility. Duties: • Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system • Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing • Managing medication • Completing reclassifications and other reviews as indicated • Making referrals for specialized care or treatment • Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards • Participating in Continuous Quality Improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews • Engaging in collaborative agreements, as needed • Caseload: Up to 2.5 patients/hour Requirement: • Ohio Medical licensure • BLS/CPR Certificate • DEA Certificate • Board Certificate
