About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Sprinkler Service Technician I to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.Key Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls from our Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions.
• Contact customers to ascertain equipment/system problems and provide solutions.
• Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.
• Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, and operational product manuals.
• Exhibit excellent customer service skills by consistently communicating with customers and district staff to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Electronically complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding and obtain customer signatures.
• Participate in a scheduled On-call rotation.Requirements
  • 5 years of documented experience in the Fire Sprinkler/Suppression industry.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
  • Able to work in unusual positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements.
  • Able to participate in an on-call rotation schedule, including overnight travel.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
  • Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs.
  • Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
  • Must possess and retain current State Fire Protection License or Journeyman License.What We OfferThis position includes a competitive benefits package and a hiring hourly range of USD $21.00/HR to $26.00/HR, with the hourly rate determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
