Job Description:

We are currently hiring for a Stand Up Forklift Operator/ Material Handler:Employees will be working in a cold storage facility that is maintained at a temperature of -10 degrees in picking area*WEEKLY ATTENDANCE BONUS*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:(Other duties may be assigned)

• Reads shipping order and/ or picking order to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Position forks and/or other lifting devices under or over loaded pallets and transports same to designated warehouse areas and/or storage racks by operating electric-poweredforklifts or electric-powered hand-trucks.
• Load and/or unloads product items and other materials onto and off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, or product code.
• Marks materials with identifying information. -
• Lifts, counts, sorts, and places product items on pallets according to order fill intructions or special requirements.
• Prepares and records order fill tickets and truck logs (load sheets) in accordance with company standards.
• Records amounts of materials or times received or distributed.
• Weighs or counts items for disribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Cold storage gear is provided by company -REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have stand up forklift experience
  • Cold storage experience is a plus
  • Able to understand written and verbal instructionSHIFT, HOURS, PAY:
    • 2nd shift -- 3PM to 11PM -- Monday thru Friday -
    • 3rd shift -- 11PM to 7:30AM -- Sunday thru Thursday
    • 4th shift -- 7PM to 7:30AM -- Saturday & Sunday
      • 11PM TO 7:30AM -- Monday & Tuesday
      • 5th shift -- 7AM to 7:30PM -- Saturday & Sunday
        • 7AM to 3:30PM -- Monday & Tuesday Breaks are every 2.5 hours -- 1 paid, 1unpaid, & 30 min lunch. #peoplefirststaffing #talroo2
