Job Description:

Essential Functions:
Processing orders with given information from Customer Service Representatives to create products into our computer operating system and generate tickets that will be given to Production.
Procuring all necessary tooling for jobs to be run in the facility.
Organizing ticket items to be printed together for operational efficiency, while maintaining minimal waste due to overprinting.
Ensuring all files are successfully transferred to the digital presses
Processing of orders supplied through our customer-based online platform
Be involved in processing orders that will be sent to other Brook & Whittle sites for production and ensuring they have what is needed.
Engagement in customer project meetings with cross-functional departments to ensure we provide product which meets/exceeds customer expectations.
Provide support and cross-functional communication when problems/questions arise during the production process.
Maintain our customer color sample library daily. File appropriately and retrieve when needed to ensure existing color standards are sent out to production with the custom orders.
Participate in various trainings/meetings: this could include daily production, departmental, continuous improvement initiatives, etc
Actively offer suggestions for improvement to processes and procedures for improved efficiencies.
Must possess a positive attitude along with a willingness and readiness to support teammates and other key departments

Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to operate efficiently with computer-oriented tasks
Strong Written and verbal communication skills.
Detail Oriented
Critical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
Ability to comprehend and explain technical product & equipment capability information.
Excellent Planning/Organizational skills.

Physical Demands:
This is a largely sedentary role at a computer; however, filing is required of our color samples. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. The Production Specialist department is also responsible for physically taking the orders through the manufacturing facility to the Production Office multiple times throughout the day.
