Description: The NextGen Administrator position supports PHS as the in-house NextGen EPM and/or EHR subject matter expert. This role has advanced knowledge of project methodology, NextGen EPM and/or EHR, and system development lifecycle. Configures, tests, documents, implements, and supports NextGen application systems by coordinating with vendor representatives, system users, team members and management. Participates in project teams, configuration, implementation, ongoing maintenance, and support for all NextGen application systems. Core Job Responsibilities (Essential Duties)The key duties and responsibilities of the NextGen Systems Analyst include, but are not limited to: Works with internal resources and external vendors to configure and maintain NextGen EPM and/or EHR. Assists with all aspects of the clinic's use of NextGen EPM and/or EHR including process mapping, software design and configuration, system testing, training, and development Collaborate with end users and internal partners to triage and troubleshoot NextGen technical issues, driving towards root cause identification and resolution. Facilitate regular meetings to discuss updates, upgrades, system issues, etc. Sampling and documenting discrepancies in system functionality Preparing recommendations for process improvement opportunities Maintain NextGen File Maintenance to utilize the system most effectively Works closely with providers, clinical staff, patient services and back-office staff Develops high-quality documentation such as system requirements, design specifications, user training plans, user guides, etc. Serves as NextGen EPM and/or EHR technical subject matter expert on projects and trains users and others throughout the organization Lead and/or support collaborative improvement efforts, including recommending modifications to the EHR and/or EPM and end user workflows to ensure accurate and timely collection of necessary data Provide technical and operational guidance and education in efficient and effective use of applications. Maintain up to date knowledge/training in all applications supported within the department Perform other duties as required QualitiesHighly motivated individual able to perform under pressure Excellent organization and time management skills Organized and analytical, able to eliminate obstacles through the implementation process Exceptional analytical skills Ability to communicate technical issues and concepts to non-technical individuals Ability to build and maintain interpersonal relationships with management, providers, staff, and vendors Ability to exercise independent judgment in planning, organizing, and performing systems analyst tasks. Requirements: Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare, Operations Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience in the areas described in the core job responsibilities. Minimum of 2 years related IT/NextGen/EHR experience within a healthcare environment NextGen EHR and/or EMP certification within first year of hire. PI202118505
