Job Description:
Job Title: Assembly Technician (Production) Education/Training:
High school diploma, vocational diploma, or GED Schedule:
Monday–Thursday: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM Friday: As needed for overtime
Pay: $18.75/hr Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50
pounds with maximum exertion. Primary Responsibilities: Assemble
engines, transmissions, and other vehicle components at designated
workstations, following specifications and using hand tools, power
tools, and production fixtures. Position and fasten together engine
and transmission subassemblies, including pistons, rods, crankshaft
heads, bearings, intake manifolds, valve bodies, and clutch
assemblies. Secure parts to form subassemblies (e.g., fuel systems)
using bolts, screws, clips, or other fastening methods. Install
mechanical and electrical components and systems, such as wire
harnesses, fuel pumps, injector pumps, and turbochargers. Verify
the quality of work and document any defects observed on
product-related paperwork. Enter and retrieve production data using
computer terminals. Work as part of an assembly team, rotating
between stations as needed to meet production requirements and
reduce fatigue. Participate in team meetings to exchange
job-related information. Serve as Group Leader when assigned,
coordinating manpower to meet daily production schedules. Assist in
Quality or Materials departments as needed (specific training will
be provided). Perform other duties as assigned. What's Needed?

Basic understanding of manufacturing or assembly processes is a
