Job Description:
Nesco Resource are seeking mechanically skilled and
detail-oriented individuals to join our Copper Wire Production
Team. Depending on the department (CRW, CMP, or CNS), you will
process 1 copper wire into rods, shaped products, or narrow strips
using specialized machinery. The ideal candidate is a quick
learner, comfortable with machine adjustments and maintenance, and
able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key
Responsibilities: Operate and monitor wire-processing machinery to
meet product specifications. Adjust machine settings (thickness,
length, shape, temperature) based on order requirements. Perform
basic troubleshooting and maintenance to ensure smooth production.
Inspect finished products for quality and consistency. Follow
safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
Department-Specific Duties: CRW (Copper Rod & Wire): Shave or
stretch 1 wire into rods/wires of varying diameters. CMP (Copper
Metal Product): Form 1 wire into custom shapes (e.g., brackets,
coils). CNS (Copper Narrow Strip): Flatten 1 wire into precision
strips of specified widths. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Mechanical aptitude – Ability to learn machinery operation quickly
(training provided). Problem-solving skills – Diagnose and resolve
minor machine issues independently. Attention to detail – Ensure
products meet exact size, shape, and quality standards. Physical
stamina – Stand for long periods and handle repetitive tasks.
Safety-conscious – Follow guidelines for industrial equipment and
