Job Title: Sourcing Agent Location: Winchester, KY Job Type: Full-Time | Regular Job Summary: The Sourcing Agent is responsible for handling low- to mid-level sourcing activities for materials and less complex services. This role plays a key part in executing strategic sourcing initiatives to drive cost savings, supplier consolidation, and process efficiencies. The agent supports category planning, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and supplier management to ensure compliance, value, and performance across procurement activities. Key Responsibilities: Lead cross-functional sourcing efforts including spend analysis, RFx processes, and supplier selection. Develop and implement category strategies to optimize cost and supplier performance. Manage supplier contracts, performance metrics, and issue resolution. Partner with internal stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business needs. Administer sourcing tools and ERP systems for process efficiency (PeopleSoft preferred). Monitor market trends and maintain competitive supplier databases. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and reporting standards. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Minimum 5 years of sourcing or procurement experience. Strong negotiation, contract, and supplier management skills. ISM certification (CPSM or CSM) preferred within 4 years of employment. Proficiency in sourcing tools and ERP systems (PeopleSoft preferred).
