Job Description:
Mills James, a leader in creative media production, is seeking a
skilled Audiovisual Specialist to join our dynamic IT and Technical
Support team. Our company thrives on crafting compelling video
content, managing high-impact events, and delivering cutting-edge
digital solutions. In this role, you will be integral to supporting
the corporate office environment by ensuring top-tier audiovisual
and technical operations. The ideal candidate will have a blend of
technical expertise, creativity, and a passion for innovative media
solutions. Install, configure, and maintain audiovisual equipment
including projectors, microphones, speakers, wiring, and related
technology. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with audio and video
production equipment within the corporate setting. Coordinate and
assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment for various
corporate events and meetings. Train staff on proper use and care
of AV equipment to maximize functionality and prevent damage.
Assist in the management of all live events, ensuring all
audiovisual components operate smoothly. Collaborate with IT staff
and other departments to integrate AV technology with corporate IT
infrastructure. Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies
in AV and recommend upgrades and new purchases to management.
In-depth understanding of audiovisual systems and components.
Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, as some events may occur during
evenings or weekends. Strong communication and interpersonal
skills. Proficiency in using modern AV technology and software.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified
Technology Specialist (CTS) preferred. Additional certifications
from manufacturers such as Extron, Crestron, or Cisco are a
plus.
