Description: You will support the coater operator by producing / batching adhesive for the machine operators. Your primary responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: - produce adhesive for coaters according to customer specs - perform all necessary line clearance and cleaning operations - maintain accurate records for identification and traceability of each lot produced - maintain inventory transactions via computer systems to ensure accurate records - make adhesives according to specific ingredients in each recipe - perform and record results of adhesive batch quality tests - perform setup and cleaning of filter press - monitor / adjust pH for plant waste water treatment plant. record results Skills: documentation, Mixing, Compounding, production, Blending, Batching, quality assurance Top Skills Details: documentation,Mixing,Compounding,production Additional Skills & Qualifications: Essential Qualifications --- previous experience batching chemical (non hazardous in this case) experience preferred - ability to read and interpret documents (safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals) - strong math aptitude, competency to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure - mechanical aptitude - strong written and oral communication skills Physical Requirements: - ability to regularly lift or move 50+ pounds - depth perception, ability to adjust focus, color vision all important attributes to this position Experience Level: Entry Level About Aerotek: We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
