Job Description:
TransForce, a leader in transportation staffing, is seeking a
highly skilled and dependable CDL A Driver with HAZMAT
certification to join our committed team. This role is pivotal in
providing safe and efficient shipping solutions for our esteemed
clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting
goods while adhering to all safety regulations and ensuring timely
delivery. With TransForce, you will be part of a company that
values safe driving and provides regular training to enhance your
skills and career. Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
with HAZMAT cargo. Load, handle, and transport hazardous materials
in compliance with federal and state regulations. Inspect vehicles
for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative
maintenance. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules. Document and
log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain
fuel/toll receipts. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations
as well as with company policies and procedures. Report defects,
accidents, or violations. Proven work experience as a truck driver
with HAZMAT. Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and
software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.). Ability to drive long hours
and travel regularly. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck
driving rules and regulations. Adaptability and foresight to handle
unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.). Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid truck
driving license (CDL A). HAZMAT Endorsement. Clean driving record.
DOT medical card.
