How you’ll make an impact in this role - Prepare the surgical suite with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all sterile instruments and supplies are ready to support a seamless and safe procedure. - Anticipate the needs of the surgical team by providing the correct instruments and supplies with speed and precision, allowing the surgeon to maintain focus on the patient. - Protect patient safety by maintaining an impeccably organized sterile field and conducting rigorous instrument counts to ensure zero retained items. - Support the patient’s journey through the OR by assisting with safe positioning and draping, prioritizing both clinical accuracy and patient dignity. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. - One or more of the following required: - Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. - Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education: - High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
