How you'll contribute An Activities Therapist who excels in this role: Conducts assessment and establishes recreational therapy treatment goals and objectives to meet the individual needs of patients. Evaluates each patient's progress and the effectiveness of recreational therapy interventions. Coordinates therapeutic activities for both large and small groups to observe patient response and encourage socialization. Provides patient and patient's family with information regarding leisure life styles and creates an awareness of resources in their community. Additional requirements include: Current Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) in the state of Ohio Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action More about Beckett Springs Beckett Springs is a 48-bed behavioral health hospital that has been offering exceptional care to the West Chester community for over 10 years.
