Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Lexington, KY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,946 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 4/21/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in a level one trauma facility License: Kentucky or compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Must have experience in Progressive Care, Acute Care, Telemetry, and Med/Surg. Every other weekend required. Must be willing to float to other universal or progressive areas. Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted. No block scheduling. No pre-approved time off between May and August. Description: Caring for medical/surgical patients in a stepdown unit. The role requires 2 years of work experience in a level one trauma facility. Candidates must hold a Kentucky or compact license and possess the required certifications. The position involves floating to other areas as needed. Every other weekend is mandatory. Compliance with all certifications and exams related to the role is expected. Candidates must be aware of the facility's policies regarding rehire eligibility. Maintaining patient safety and providing quality care are essential responsibilities. The position demands strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
