working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Lexington,

License: Compact or state license required Certifications: ACLS,
BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Level 1 or 2 trauma center
experience required Trauma/general surgery post-operative patient
experience required Experience with abdominal surgeries required
Experience with tracheostomies and flaps required Proficient in
managing Foley catheters, surgical drains, surgical oncology, wound
vacs, ostomies, ports, PICC lines, TPN, and lipids Description: The
position is in an acute progressive care unit with a focus on heavy
trauma and GI post-operative patients. Candidates with ACLS, BLS,
NIHSS, and telemetry experience are preferred. Experience in Level
1-2 trauma situations is required. The role involves working with
trauma and general surgery post-operative patients. Strong skills
in managing surgical drains, wound care, and NG tube feedings are
essential. The unit has a daily census of approximately 32
patients. Interdisciplinary support is available from various
services including physical therapy, respiratory services, and
pharmacy. Job responsibilities include patient care for colorectal
surgery patients, head and neck surgery, surgical oncology, and
plastic surgery. The candidate should be comfortable floating
within the hospital as needed. Compliance with all required
