years of outpatient clinic infusion experience required License:
Valid Nursing License required Certifications: BLS, ONS/ONCC
certification required Must-Have: ONS chemo-certified nurse with
infusion experience Description: Travel RN needed for an outpatient
clinic infusion position. The nurse will be floating between
multiple clinics. No call and no weekend shifts are required. The
patient demographic includes adults and geriatric patients. The
unit has three rooms for patient care. The documentation system
utilized is EPIC. The nurse will administer chemotherapy and
provide symptom management. Candidates should have experience in
handling body fluids post-chemotherapy. Monitoring chemotherapy and
recognizing abnormal lab values are essential skills. Care and
management of ports is a required competency. Infusion pump
management and starting/maintaining IVs are necessary skills.
Isolation precautions and PPE knowledge are important for this
role. Radiation safety precautions must be observed. Experience in
accessing and managing ports is required. The clinic conducts
theranostics infusion procedures. This position requires candidates
to understand the urgency of the credentialing process.
Professional references are needed, including a reference from a
managerial or supervisory role. Candidates must have completed
education from an accredited nursing program. Requirements Required
