Job Opportunity – CVOR RN – Ohio Start Date: April 5, 2026 Location: Columbus, Ohio Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 2x8 and 2x12 shifts per week; shift times range from 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM with call; flexible scheduling required to meet unit needs Highlights: Work in a specialized cardiovascular operating room environment with advanced cardiac, vascular, and transplant procedures Exposure to complex open cases including CABG, valve replacements, AAA repairs, dissections, amputations, fistulas, and ECMO Participate in cutting-edge endovascular cases such as TAVR, TVAR, EVAR, fistulograms, angiograms, and radiofrequency ablations Utilize EPIC charting system in a Level I Trauma facility 7-room OR suite dedicated to heart and vascular surgical care Contract designed for experienced cardiovascular OR nurses seeking dynamic, high-acuity caseloads Requirements: Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission) 3 years overall OR experience 2 years dedicated cardiac, vascular, and transplant experience 1 year CVOR experience required 1 year experience in a Level I Trauma facility BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS certification preferred Proficiency with EPIC charting system required Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 2 professional references required (at least 1 from a manager, director, or formal supervisor) Ability to complete urgent fingerprinting requirements for Ohio credentialing Why It's a Great Opportunity: This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced CVOR nurse to work in a renowned heart and vascular center caring for adult and geriatric populations requiring advanced cardiovascular interventions and surgery.
