Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Columbus, OH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,269 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 16 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of current specialty experience required. License: Valid nursing license required. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Must-Have: Epic charting experience required. Description: Responsible for floating to various Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units as needed. Ensure staff safety in a secure corrections unit environment. Must have preferred experience in oncology, but it is not required. Provide care for patients with active oncology diagnoses and various other medical conditions. Manage and administer IV therapy, including blood product administration and peripheral line care. Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias as necessary. Support pre and post hemodialysis patients and manage renal failure cases. Administer medications, including heparin protocols and patient-controlled analgesia. Provide respiratory support using CPAP/BIPAP and manage tracheostomies. Work in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including pharmacy and physical therapy. Handle a patient population with a variety of diagnoses, including solid tumors, blood cancers, and those requiring post-operative care. Adhere to safety protocols and utilize appropriate infection control measures. Demonstrate effective communication and documentation skills in the electronic health record system.
