Opportunity at Our Organization We are looking for an Orthopedic
Trauma Surgeon to join our team at a prestigious Level 1 academic
trauma center. This role focuses on the management of intricate
orthopedic trauma cases, particularly those involving pelvis,
acetabular, and long bone fractures. The position encompasses both
inpatient and outpatient care, along with responsibilities for
teaching orthopedic residents and fellows, and participating in
call coverage. Candidates should be fellowship-trained, board
certified or eligible, and capable of obtaining a medical license
in Indiana. We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive
dual employment benefits. Position Overview: Join a Level 1 trauma
center with shared call coverage among the team. Work schedule:
Monday to Friday, including one clinic day weekly, one block day,
and variable weekend call. Location: IU Health Methodist Hospital.
Patient care distribution: approximately 20% outpatient and 80%
inpatient. Key responsibilities include: Providing care to adult
patients at a Level 1 trauma center located in downtown
Indianapolis. Expertise in managing and surgically addressing
pelvis and acetabular fractures, along with proficiency in
repairing articular fractures and long bone injuries.
Qualifications: Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Doctor of Medicine
(MD). Completion of a fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma. Board
eligible or board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic
Surgery (ABOS) in the United States. Eligibility to obtain a
medical license in Indiana. Recent graduates and experienced
board-certified physicians are encouraged to apply. Compensation
