Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) - Licensed Professional
Clinical Counselor (LPCC) - Licensed Independent Marriage and
Family Therapist (IMFT) - Licensed Registered Nurse with
certificate of authority as a Clinical Nurse Specialist or
Certified Nurse Practitioner with specialty certification in Mental
Health or Psychiatry Certifications: - Training and development
required to maintain licensure Must-Have: - Completion of
continuing professional education for license renewal pursuant to
relevant sections of the Ohio Revised Code Description: The
Behavioral Healthcare Provider develops, coordinates, implements,
and provides interdisciplinary services relevant to health and
illness. The role includes applying knowledge of behavioral and
biomedical science to prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and
rehabilitation. Independently provide services within a
credentialed scope of practice. Serve as lead worker or liaison to
other support agencies. Act as a lead worker over lower-level
behavioral healthcare providers. Develop and implement treatment
plans for clients. Coordinate admission, assessment, evaluation,
and treatment plans for clients' care cycles. Provide interventions
for acute and complex clients. Handle cases with numerous factors
and problems, providing crisis intervention when needed.
Participate in establishing, implementing, and directing behavioral
healthcare programs and treatment objectives. Design and modify
treatment intervention techniques to respond to client progress and
behavior changes. Evaluate the performance of lower-level
behavioral healthcare providers in administering prescribed
treatment plans. Maintain necessary data documents to satisfy
requirements of regulatory agencies. Serve as an active member of
treatment teams and participate in training sessions and policy
review meetings. Establish and maintain working relationships with
other facilities and support services for coordination of referrals
and follow-up services. May require unusual work schedules or
arrangements. May be exposed to clients who could be potentially
violent. May experience unusual noise, odors, or contagious
diseases. Possible travel to community sites under contract with
