Job Description:

Medical Assistant at Mount Carmel, you will play a pivotal role in
maintaining the efficient operation of our medical facilities,
ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of care. This
position requires a proactive and compassionate individual capable
of multitasking in a fast-paced environment and dedicated to health
improvement of our community. Assist in examination and treatment
of patients under the direction of a physician. Interview patients,
measure vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure,
weight, and height), and record information on patients' charts.
Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms
neat and clean. Administer injections or medications as directed by
the physician in compliance with medical standards. Facilitate
patient care by scheduling appointments, maintaining records and
conducting billing and bookkeeping duties as necessary. Prepare and
perform point-of-care testing and other clinical tasks as directed
by the healthcare provider. Proficiency in electronic medical
record (EMR) systems Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to perform clinical tasks including administering
injections and recording vitals Excellent communication skills and
compassion for patients Capability to handle multiple tasks
simultaneously and prioritize responsibilities Medical Insurance
