Morrison Muncie IN 47304 Schedule: Monday - Friday between 7am-6pm / No evenings, weekends, or holidays! Specialty: Family Practice /n /n Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities: /n /n - Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment & instruments /n - Room patients, obtain health history and check vital signs /n - Document patient care using electronic medical record software /n - Assist providers with minor, in-office procedures /n - Schedule appointments, complete prior authorizations, process medication refills, handle referrals and answer patient calls as needed /n /n /n At American Health Network, a part of Optum, transforming the delivery of health care across our region is our passion. Required Qualifications: /n /n - High School Diploma or GED equivalent /n - Active, unrestricted LPN license in the state of Indiana /n /n Preferred Qualifications: /n /n - CPR certification /n - Experience working as an LPN in a family practice setting /n - Experience with NextGen or other electronic medical records (EMR) software /n - Experience performing medical back-office tasks including injections/immunizations, phlebotomy, urinalysis, and administering medications /n - Experience performing medical front-office tasks including scheduling appointments, prior authorizations, medication refills, and referrals /n /n /n The hourly range for this role is $19.86 to $38.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
