Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 4 plus years in operating room required License: Compact or state license required at time of submission Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Level 2 experience required, Level 1 experience preferred, trauma experience required Description: 4 plus years of experience in the operating room is required. BLS certification is required. Level 2 experience in the operating room is mandatory. Level 1 experience is preferred. Candidates must be well-rounded and capable of circulating a variety of cases. Trauma experience is required for this position. Candidates may be required to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. All candidates must present their required time off at the time of submission. If a candidate has previously worked in this facility, this must be noted. Candidates should be aware of rehire eligibility criteria. Call policy details are established, including response times and call hours. Call frequency is anticipated to be 2-3 shifts per schedule period. Modules completed during orientation and annually will vary by specialty.
