3B Healthcare Inc. is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Lima, Ohio. Registered Respiratory Therapist ~ Discipline: Allied Health Professional ~ Shift: 12 hours, nights ~ Employment Type: Travel Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Shift: Nights 3x12s (7p-7:30a) Contract: 13 weeks (option to extend) Description: Functioning within the Health System’s mission, values, objectives, policies, and procedures the Respiratory Care Practitioner administers therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care procedures to patients as ordered by the patient’s health care provider and according to policy, protocols, and AARC standards. Responsibilities include managing invasive and noninvasive ventilators, obtaining arterial and capillary blood gas samples and results, evaluating patients and recommending respiratory plan. The RCP provides education and instructions to patients and families, assists with discharge planning, and performs procedures including EEG and pulmonary function studies. S/he also assists physicians with bronchoscopies and percutaneous trach insertions and utilizes the electronic medical record to document patient care. About 3B Healthcare Inc.
