qualified PCU RN in Lexington, Kentucky, 40536! Pay Information
$2,276 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 14
weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:30)
Experience: 2 years recent ICU experience required; 1 year
experience in high acuity PCU required License: Compact or State
License required at time of submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS,
NIHSS required Must-Have: Critical thinking skills; ability to work
with patients that may need rapid response; PCU, Med/Surg, Tele
experience required; must float to ICU or other PCU units
Description: 2 years recent ICU experience is required. 1 year of
experience in high acuity PCU is necessary. The candidate must
float to ICU or other PCU units. No first-time travelers will be
accepted. Candidates must possess critical thinking skills. They
should be able to work with patients that may need rapid response.
Experience in PCU, Med/Surg, and Telemetry is required. ACLS, BLS,
and NIHSS certifications are required. Candidates will orient to
other transitional units. 36 or 48 hours per week contracts are
available. Local travelers within 75 miles are not accepted.
References are required for submission. Candidates will float
within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. Rehire
eligibility for travelers will be checked weekly. The candidate's
eligibility for rehire must be noted. Call response time is one
hour. Weekday call hours will be from 8 PM to 6 AM. Weekend call
will be divided into two shifts: 6 AM to 6 PM or 6 PM to 6 AM. The
weekend call period begins Saturday at 6 AM and ends Monday morning
at 6 AM. Modules are billable and will average 6.5 hours. Modules
must be completed during orientation and annually. Modules vary by
