$2,251 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse

Valid compact or state nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS,
ONS Certification Must-Have: - Required certifications - Strong
telemetry interpretation skills - Experience with IV therapy and
phlebotomy - Ability to manage patients with complex diagnoses
Description: Responsible for providing patient care in an oncology
and hematology setting. May be scheduled for day, night, or a
combination of shifts based on department needs. Shift assignments
are reviewed every four-week scheduling period. Staffing ratios aim
for 1:4 but can be 1:5 depending on unit needs. Weekend shifts are
variable based on unit requirements. Self-schedule requests can be
submitted for preferred scheduling consideration. Orientation
includes a first week of day shifts followed by on-unit training
with a preceptor. Floating to other medical/surgical and oncology
units may be required. Manage patients diagnosed with lymphoma,
multiple myeloma, acute leukemias, chronic leukemias, sickle cell
disease, and other benign hematology conditions. Perform procedures
including chemotherapy administration, blood transfusions, and IV
antibiotics. Address oncologic emergencies such as tumor lysis
syndrome and cytokine release syndrome. Focus on infection
prevention protocols and fall prevention strategies. Monitor
telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias as needed. Utilize rapid
response teams when necessary. Provide care for feeding tubes and
manage IV therapy, including blood product administration and
central line care. Chart patient information using computerized
