Job Description:
Job Title: Electrophysiology Technician Profession:

required License: Compact or Kentucky State License required
Certifications: ARRT, KBMIRT, ACLS, BLS, PALS, Stroke scale, EKG
onboarding exam required Must-Have: Local travelers within 75 miles
are not accepted Description: Two years of experience in
electrophysiology is required. RT-EP experience is a must.
Responsibilities include performing ablations, loop removals,
cardioversions, devices, and lead extractions. Shifts are 4-10
hours with some late shifts scheduled Monday through Friday from
7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. COVID-19 vaccination is required, with medical
and religious exemptions only. Flu vaccination is also required,
with medical and religious exemptions only. References are required
for all candidates. Candidates may float within the hospital or to
nearby affiliate hospitals. Rehire eligibility will be checked, and
previously worked individuals must be noted in the profile. Most
units require Level 1 trauma experience, so please verify the
specifics in the job description. PACU call response time is 1
hour. Weekday call hours are from 8 PM to 6 AM. Weekend call shifts
will be divided into two shifts: 6 AM to 6 PM or 6 PM to 6 AM.
Weekend duties begin Saturday at 6 AM and end Monday morning at 6
AM. Floating requirements will apply as necessary to handle patient
recovery needs. Call frequency is anticipated to be 2-3 shifts per
schedule period of 6 weeks. Modules are billable and will be
completed during the contract period as required by specialty.
