Job Description:
Job Title: Scope Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty:
Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per
Shift: 8 (23:00 - 07:30) Experience: 2 years required in specialty,
travel experience required License: Compact or KY State License
required Certifications: HSPA/CRCST required, CER required for
anyone starting after July 1st Must-Have: Experience with ERCP,
EUS, bronchoscope, colonoscope, and EGD Description: This is a
Scope Tech position. Please note that the manager will call to
interview each candidate. The manager will ask detailed questions
to determine experience. Candidates should ensure that their work
history aligns with the skills checklist and appears honest.
Clinical BLS certification is required. Candidates must have
experience with ERCP, EUS, bronchoscope, colonoscope, and EGD. Two
years of experience in the specialty is required, along with travel
experience. The position may require floating between different
locations. On-call duties are expected. Core compliance exams are
required to be completed. References are mandatory as part of the
application process. Floating within the facility or to nearby
affiliates may be necessary. Rehire eligibility must be checked
before submitting candidates. Call response time is expected to be
within one hour. Call hours will vary during weekdays and weekends.
Candidates should anticipate being on call 2-3 shifts during the
scheduled period. Modules are included in orientation and annually,
and may vary by specialty. Orientation will include 8 hours of
non-billable training.
