(Tele RN) \n Job Summary :\n A Telemetry Registered Nurse (Tele RN)
provides specialized care to patients who require continuous
monitoring of vital signs, heart rhythms, and other key
physiological functions. Tele RNs assess, plan, implement, and
evaluate care for patients with acute and chronic conditions,
focusing on monitoring, medication administration, and ensuring the
safe and effective management of cardiac and other medical
conditions. \n\n Key Responsibilities : \n \n Monitor patients’
cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment,
identifying and responding to abnormal readings or changes in
condition. \n Administer medications, perform routine assessments,
and provide interventions based on telemetry data to ensure
patients' safety and well-being. \n Collaborate with physicians,
nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers to develop and
adjust care plans tailored to the needs of patients with cardiac or
medical conditions. \n Interpret cardiac rhythms and ECGs,
recognizing signs of arrhythmias, ischemia, and other cardiac
abnormalities. \n Provide patient and family education regarding
cardiac conditions, medication management, lifestyle modifications,
and prevention strategies. \n Collaborate with multidisciplinary
teams to coordinate care, ensuring timely responses to changing
patient conditions and complications. \n Monitor and assess
patients for symptoms of heart failure, hypertension, and other
cardiac or medical concerns. \n Administer and monitor telemetry
devices, including central telemetry units and mobile monitors, to
ensure continuous monitoring of patient cardiac activity. \n
Recognize and respond to acute cardiac events such as chest pain,
arrhythmias, or other cardiac emergencies, initiating appropriate
interventions as needed. \n Document patient care, treatments, and
telemetry data accurately and thoroughly, ensuring compliance with
clinical standards and regulatory requirements. \n Provide
discharge planning and education to patients and families regarding
medication, lifestyle adjustments, and follow-up care. \n \n\n
Qualifications : \n \n Education : Bachelor of Science in Nursing
(BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted. \n
Licensure :\n \n Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
of practice. \n \n \n Certification :\n \n Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification required. \n Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
