  • Gastrointestinal Care Excellence Award (2020) Responsibilities & RequirementsThe Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) maintains operational responsibility for one or more nursing units on a twenty-four hour a day basis. Responsible for planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care to patients in all settings where nursing care is provided in collaboration with other health care providers. The CNM is accountable for the provision of safe patient care, compliance with department strategic objectives, participation in performance and practice improvement activities. The delivery of evidence based nursing care at Kettering Health Network reflects the philosophies, missions, vision and values of the organization and nursing department.Preferred QualificationsRequired Licenses[Ohio, United States] Registered NurseLicensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered NurseMinimum Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a Bachelors degree in another field if willing to begin a program leading to a Bachelor of Science or Masters degree in Nursing within 12 months of hire and completed within 3 years Masters in Nursing preferred, a Masters may be mandatory if required by a regulatory agencyMinimum Work ExperienceMinimum of two years of progressive clinical experience with demonstrated leadership skillsRequired Skills BLS National certification by the end of 2nd year in position
