Job Description:

Designs, implements, and maintains Salesforce.com custom solutions, using Apex, VisualForce, and Lightning Components. Designs and implements custom integration solutions, using ETL software. Uses business knowledge to translate the vision for divisional initiatives into business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications and conducting studies of alternatives. Analyzes and recommends changes in project development policies, procedures, standards, and strategies to development experts and management.

Primary Responsibilities:

Participates in architecture design teams.

Defines and implements application level architecture.

Develops applications on complex projects, components, and subsystems for the division.

Recommends development testing tools and methodologies and reviews and validates test plans.

Responsible for QA readiness of software deliverables.

Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications or subsystems.

Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex projects across multiple platforms.

Responsible for meeting project goals on-time and on-budget.

Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies for projects.

Plans and coordinates project schedules and assignments for multiple projects.

Acts as a primary liaison for business units to resolve various project/technology issues.

Provides technology solutions to daily issues and technical evaluation estimates on technology initiatives.

Advises senior management on technical strategy.

Mentors junior team members.

Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.

Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience leading the design and implementation of Salesforce.com CRM capabilities, using Force.com configuration and programmatic solutions.

Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience leading the design and implementation of Salesforce.com CRM capabilities, using Force.com configuration and programmatic solutions.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise (DE) performing end-to-end architecture and solution design, and developing CRM capabilities -- performing customization, using Apex, VisualForce, Lightning Components, JavaScript, and API Integration -- on a Force.com platform.

DE performing Sales and Service Cloud product and Force.com configuration -- administering Salesforce instances by creating or modifying salesforce.com configurations including, profiles, roles, users, page layouts, custom objects, workflows, flows, and process builders; and inserting, updating, deleting, or exporting Salesforce records using Salesforce Data Loader.

DE in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) of Salesforce.com solutions -- providing estimates and dependencies to product owners to assist in the timeline planning of enhancements, performing requirement refinement, architecting high level solution direction including, integrating patterns, designing salesforce.com solutions to meet business requirements, developing solutions, using Force.com configuration and code, writing unit tests in Apex, and managing configurations and codes using version control system (Git) -- on a Salesforce.com platform, using Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom Force.com Development in an Agile Scrum environment.

DE mentoring junior developers on requirement level solution design and design standards for Apex, VisualForce, Apex Unit Tests, and Lightning Components.
