POSITION TITLE: Vice President, Wireline
CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
POSITION OVERVIEW:

ADB is seeking a Vice President of Wireline to bid, plan, direct,
coordinate and budget activities concerned with the construction of
telecommunication projects. This position will participate in the
conceptual development of a construction project and overs its
organization, scheduling, and implementation. The position
formulates company policies and ensures adherence. The ideal
candidate is a subject matter expert in underground and aerial
construction, possess best in class leadership skills, as well as a
strong work ethic and an ALL IN attitude to achieve results.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build customer relationships and source opportunities to bid
on
- Estimate and bid projects with the help of support teams and
senior management
- Work with Management and Foreman to plan, organize and direct
activities concerned with construction projects.
- Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and
performance standards within boundaries of company policy and
contract specifications. Confer with Management and
- Foreman to discuss such matters as work procedures, complaints,
and construction problems.
- Initiate and maintain liaison with owners and other contacts to
facilitate project activities
- Monitor and control project through administrative direction of
on-site foreman to ensure project is completed on schedule and
within budget
- Investigate potentially serious situations and implement
corrective measures
- Participants in and is accountable to leadership Scorecard with
metrics to meet strategic goals of the division this role oversees;
has complete buy in to I404 (action planning system
- Represent company in project meetings and attend strategy
meetings
- Work with contract administrator to manage financial aspects of
contracts to protect company's interest and simultaneously maintain
good relationship with the customer
- May request supplies and materials to complete project
- Interpret and explain plans and contracts terms to
administrative staff, workers and customers
- Formulate reports concerning such areas as work progress, costs
and scheduling
- Work with Management to assign works to construction sites to
work on specific projects
- Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership SUCCESS

Point). WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as
laptop computers, projectors, copy/fax, and smartphones
- Must endure regular exposure to all weather conditions,
especially hot, humid and/or rainy spring, summer and fall weather,
combined with regular work time indoors in environmentally
controlled conditions.
- Must assume responsibility for work outcomes and results of
other workers.
- May be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise
levels on sites of projects being managed or coordinated.
- Must wear common protective of safety equipment, such as safety
glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats and life jackets
when working on-site. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- 10+ years' experience within the telecom/utility construction
industry with full understanding of fiber
- installation operations required
- 5+ years of proven success in leading high-performance
teams
- Solid understanding of business planning processes and key
business metrics to be achieved
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management preferred but not
required
- High School diploma or equivalent required
