Position SummaryThis position oversees all aspects of Foundations Counseling private practice operations and is responsible for maintaining the highest standard of care for patients. -The Clinical Director is directly responsible for the clinical, operational, and fiscal management of the full continuum of behavioral health services provided in Foundations Counseling. -Direct reports include all clinical contract staff and the clinical coordinator. -The position provides 15 hours per week in administrative functions with the remaining hours providing clinical care.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans that meet business goals and objectives created in partnership with the Executive Leadership team
  • Engages the community in the mission of the organization by fostering relationships with key stakeholders, including local boards, funders, government agencies, and partner agencies
  • Participates in Human Resource lifecycle, anticipates staffing needs, accurately assesses/manages the resource allocation of personnel
  • Effectively allocates resources and provides staff with support and tools to complete job functions; develops performance targets and manages to those targets; delegates work assignments, sets expectations and monitors delegated activities; provides consistent feedback to staff and teams
  • Manages multiple projects simultaneously; determines prioritization of projects and urgency with which they are completed; creates clear project plans and organizes and manages the work effectively.
  • Directs, plans, coordinates, develops, and monitors multiple locations and services in accordance with the contract, licensing, certification, accreditation, and agency standards.
  • Uses evidence-based models to drive program development, and implementation, and fidelity to best practices.
  • Will carry a caseload that is sufficient to support contracted hours.
  • Enhances collaboration and cooperation between business lines and partner organizations to ensure service integration.
  • Monitors and completes all reports according to requirements.
  • Analyzes and responds to data through the continuous quality improvement process and effectively engages teams in the improvement process; communicates and promotes the efforts and outcomes of those initiatives.
  • Plans, directs, and controls financial resources; follows fiscal policies and procedures; actively seeks new opportunities for funding; manages revenue effectively to maximize reimbursement; monitors expenses to budget.
  • Assures policies and procedures for operations are in compliance with all appropriate local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Manages monitors and evaluates the organization's compliance and responds accordingly.
  • Prepares and participates in site audits and surveys.
  • Ensures quality clinical documentation in accordance with the contract, regulator, and agency requirements.
  • Maintains all necessary documentation as required by OMHAS, Joint Commission, and professional licenses (if applicable), and does so in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
  • Provides clinical documentation oversight and sign off to dependent licensed positions
  • Provides licensure supervision to dependent licensed positions where applicable
  • All other duties as assigned and appropriate for the position.Minimum Job RequirementsEducation: - -Master's Degree requiredLicenses or other required certifications: -Independent licensure is required with supervisory endorsement. LISW-S or LPCC-S. Will accept candidates within 3 months of obtaining Supervisory endorsement if they do not already have it.Experience: -Strong administration/management experience and skills with a minimum of 3 years of direct supervisor experience. -Must have at least 5 years of experience working with any combination of Substance Use Disorders or Mental Health Disorders. Knowledge of and experience with a variety of payor sources such EAPs, State, Federal, Medicaid/Medicare, and managed care organizations. Experience working in a private practice setting is preferred.
