Description:Primary Functions and Responsibilities:
You will have broad responsibility to manage and coordinate, production schedules, material planning, purchasing,and raw material / finished goods inventory control for the Flexographic and Digital Print Value Stream. Drive operational excellence using Lean manufacturing techniques in scheduling, purchasing, and inventory control. Achieve material control objectives, on-time shipment targets and finished goods stocking levels.Your leadership will be key in establishing Brook & Whittle as a leader in production efficiency from proof of concept to delivery of printed labels. You will collaborate with leadership and operations to implement strategies and initiatives to ensure materials and resources are available at the optimum time for efficient production and on-time shipments to our customers. Additionally, a key responsibility of this role will be to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the entire value stream.Essential Functions:

  • Create and/or organize production schedules utilizing scheduling system on a daily basis
  • Perform MRO buying to support production requirements
  • Develop and implement best practices for the production scheduling, production planning, and materials procurement and planning.
  • Proactive collaboration with Sales, Account Management, Purchasing and Manufacturing to assure that materials and production processes are in line to support Quality, OTS (On Time Shipping), and Cost
  • Proactive communication to customer service on any order delays.
  • Recommend/Communicate Capacity plans to optimal inventory levels across the supply chain and support the proactive management of those levels in order to achieve targeted customer satisfaction as well as mitigate inventory exposure
  • Monitor material inventories, tracks progress of production and reviews factors that affect schedules, ensuring that the schedule is aligned with current sales
  • Analysis of production schedules and job specifications to assure orders are produced optimally.
  • Collaborate with various production groups to ensure plans are executed and capacity or other constraints are identified and resolved.
  • Participate in cross functional teams as assigned to help drive continuous improvement.
  • Develops action plans with team members as needed for problem resolution.

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
    • 5+ years' experience in Supply Chain and Production planning
    • Excellent leadership skills - Dynamic, Leadership Savvy, Relationship-building skills, Drive and Passion, Execution Rigor, Influencing Expectations, Clear and Effective Communication, Accountability Management and Group facilitation skills.
    • Independence, creativity and good judgment, positive attitude, and an innovative spirit
    • Communication-must be able to effectively communicate in both written and verbal forms, and at all levels in the organization.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management.
    • Results orientation - must deliver results.
    • High energy and ability to handle conflict.
    • Proven process improvement and change management skills.
    • Effective coaching and mentoring skills.
    • Mastery of a variety of Lean & Continuous Improvement initiatives would be a plus.Work Authorization/Security ClearanceMust be eligible to work in the United States without restriction.
