heights! As a Structural Technician III, you will lead complex
assembly projects and ensure the highest quality standards are met.
You will provide technical guidance to junior technicians, oversee
project timelines, and work closely with engineering teams to
resolve any technical challenges. This advanced role demands a high
level of expertise and the ability to manage multiple tasks
effectively. Responsibilities: Lead and execute complex assembly
projects. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior
technicians. Oversee and ensure compliance with quality standards
and project timelines. Collaborate with engineering teams to
address and resolve technical issues. Conduct detailed inspections
and quality checks on completed assemblies. Document assembly
processes and suggest improvements. Ensure proper maintenance and
calibration of tools and equipment. Facilitate continuous training
programs for team members. Participate in cross-functional teams to
improve overall manufacturing processes. Qualifications You Must
Have: High school diploma or equivalent. 3 years of relevant
experience. Higher level relevant degree may substitute for
experience. Advanced proficiency in blueprint reading and technical
documentation. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to
detail. Ability to understand and interpret applicable technical
schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications;
ability to complete installations per technical drawings while
maintaining edge distance and pitch. Progressive experience with
structure assembly, minor part fitting techniques and repair and
refinishing such as airframe corrosion removal, as applicable.
Ability to install various fasteners such as rivets and hi-locks.
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance
is required Qualifications We Prefer: Associate’s degree in
aerospace manufacturing or related discipline. Extensive experience
with advanced assembly techniques and tools. Ability to travel.
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department
of Defense, or US Military. Essential Functions: Ability to lift up
to 50 lbs regularly. Required to be on your feet for most of the
work shift. Use of hand and power tools requiring hand/finger
dexterity. Exposure to noisy and potentially hazardous
environments; proper safety gear must be worn. Ability to travel
may be required. This posting will be open for application for a
