Water Resources Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join the HMB team!

Frankfort, Lexington and Louisville Key Responsibilities Assist in
the design and analysis of water resource projects, including
drinking water and sanitary sewer collection network design.
Perform hydraulic calculations utilizing computer modeling software
and other industry-standard tools. Support permitting efforts by
preparing technical reports, documentation, and regulatory
applications. Conduct field investigations, site assessments, and
data collection for utility design. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams, including civil engineers, environmental
specialists, and regulatory agencies. Prepare technical drawings,
maps, specifications, contract documents, and reports using
AutoCAD, GIS, and other relevant software. Stay informed about
industry regulations, guidelines, and best practices. Skills,
Knowledge and Expertise Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a
related field. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability
to obtain within 6 months. 0-4 years of experience in water
resources engineering (internships or co-op experience is
applicable). Familiarity with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling
software. Proficiency in AutoCAD is desired. Basic computer skills
and familiarity with Microsoft Office is required. Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and
teamwork abilities. Strong verbal, written, interpersonal
communication, as well as time management skills Strong sense of
urgency and self-initiative to meet client needs and deadlines, as
well as other assigned project parameters Detail-oriented team
player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
