We are currently seeking candidates for our Dayton, Ohio location for: Surface Grinders - 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shifts available Flexible Schedules- Off Shift Incentives 15% shift differential - Benefits start Day One! Requirements: Sets up and operate machines to grind parts to blueprint specifications. Fills out production paperwork and inspection procedures as required. Reports any problems or discrepancies to immediate supervisor. Maintains tools, gages and equipment in a clean, orderly and safe manner. Observes overall operation and performs regular daily maintenance on equipment and work area. Complies with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety, quality, and attendance Willingness and capacity to learn more skills, including but not limited to CNC operation. Working in tight tolerance environment (/- .0002) a plus Advanced Requirements: Follows blueprints, job orders and written or verbal instructions for product specifications such as finishes, dimensions, tolerances and understands which grinding wheels to be used for different materials. Dresses wheels to specifications using dressing appropriate techniques.
