Job Description Job Description Maintenance Technician - Paying up to $40/hr 1st shift, from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with up to 10 hours of overtime per week. Cardington, OH Job Description The Maintenance Technician is responsible for a wide range of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic machine maintenance duties to ensure the proper and continuous operation of production machinery and equipment. Additionally, this role involves performing building maintenance duties and obtaining work orders, following prescribed procedures using standard methods to repair and service motors, relays, contacts, integrated circuit cards, and boards, as well as bending and installing conduit and terminating wiring. The role requires the use of hands, power tools, and simple machine tools with constant alertness and attention. Responsibilities Detect and report faulty equipment, defective materials, improper operations, and unusual conditions to the proper supervisor. Observe all prescribed safety rules, including wearing appropriate clothing, shoes, safety glasses, helmets, and earplugs, and adhere to safety regulations. Maintain a neat and orderly work area. Perform other related duties as assigned or directed. Essential Skills Electrical troubleshooting Hydraulics Mechanical and pneumatic systems Blueprint and schematic reading Experience with 480v - 3-PHASE systems 3 years in an electrician/maintenance role, ideally with exposure to automation Ability to troubleshoot basic pneumatic and mechanical drive systems at the component level Additional Skills & Qualifications Electro-mechanical troubleshooting Conduit bending Circuit card and board repair Wire terminating 5 years in an electrician/maintenance role, ideally with exposure to automation Why Work Here? Work Environment This position operates within a 70,000 sq/ft climate-controlled manufacturing facility. The work environment is relaxed, flexible, and autonomous. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Cardington, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
