society. Based in New Albany, Ohio, the site of Amgens new advanced
product assembly and packaging plant. In thisroleyou will provide
technical engineering support on all system/equipment optimization
strategies, upgrades, replacements, and modifications. You will
evaluate anddetermineif utility systems, process maintenance,
instrumentation/ calibration/electricalsystemsand technical
cleaning systems aremaintainedin compliance with all applicable
industry standards, regulatory standards and FDA standards in the
Inspection and Packaging area. The work schedule for this role will
be a first shift schedule (Monday through Friday, approximately
6:30 am to 3:00 pm) for 2-4 months and then move to a12 hourPM
2-2-3 shift schedule. As the facility moves into operation, the
successful incumbent will be expected to join ashiftteam structure
working to support coverage across Amgens 24-hour operations. These
shift structures can bea great opportunityto better support
individual work/life priorities inNon-Standard Shifts structure.
Responsibilities: Take part in the coordination of tech support on
engineering, regulatory, compliance, calibration, quality,
microbial/environmental, technical cleaning, validation, electrical
and process automation issues. Assistduring regulatory agency
inspections. Provide technical support in response to the FDA and
other regulatory agencies. Complete advanced maintenance activities
oroperateand monitor sophisticated plant support equipmentin
accordance withCFRs,cGMPs, SOPs, job plans and Amgen policies.
Investigate complex issues or problems through the mentorship of
experienced staff. Assistthe team withmaintainingan up-to-date
working spare parts inventory system for the equipment/systemsthe
team. Evaluate the current maintenance procedures andassistin the
changes tooptimizethe maintenance program, trouble shoot and repair
equipment/system failures. Interpret and review utility, process
system/ equipment, plumbing, ductwork plans, architectural, and
HVAC P&IDs. Support Operations in Non-Standard shifts
thatincludesweekends and/or holidays asdeterminedby business. What

weseekwillpossessthese qualifications: Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree Or Associates degree and 4 years of Technical
Engineering experience Or High school diploma / GED and 6 years of
Technical Engineering experience Preferred Qualifications:
Educational background in Mechatronics, Computer Science,
Electronic Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering or
Electrical Engineering Understanding in PLC, Computer
Serialization, Packaging Equipment, Inspection System SCADA/PLC
Control System experience in Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or
Biotechnology Industry Other Automated Control Systems to be
supportedare:Siemens and Rockwell HMIs, Cognex Vision
System,Sensorand Systech Serialization Experience with automation
system hardware and software support, including installation
Excellent organizational, project management, problem solving and
technical writing capability Strong communication: verbal /
written, collaboration, influencing and facilitation MS Office:

range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted.
Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not
limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications. In
