Insurance Discount Programs Responsibilities We are seeking an
experienced HVAC and Plumbing Construction Manager to lead
Residential New Construction (RNC) operations in the Cincinnati
market. This role oversees HVAC and plumbing field teams, manages
projects from pre-construction through completion, and ensures
safety, quality, budget, and production goals are consistently met.
The ideal candidate is a strong operational leader with deep
technical knowledge in both HVAC and plumbing systems, proven field
leadership experience, and the ability to manage multiple active
communities in a fast-paced residential environment. Key
Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day HVAC and plumbing construction
operations within the assigned region Manage project schedules,
budgets, labor planning, and production targets Lead, coach, and
develop field supervisors, foremen, and installation crews Ensure
compliance with all local, state, and federal mechanical and
plumbing codes Enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards
across all job sites Coordinate with builders, superintendents,
purchasing teams, and internal departments to resolve issues and
maintain build timelines Conduct job site inspections to ensure
quality standards and installation best practices are followed
Manage material procurement and inventory to prevent job delays
Review blueprints, mechanical plans, and specifications to ensure
proper execution Monitor KPIs related to cycle time, rework,
warranty issues, and labor efficiency Participate in workforce
planning, recruiting, and performance management of field staff
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives
Qualifications Qualifications 5 years of experience in HVAC and/or
plumbing construction management (Residential New Construction
preferred) Proven leadership experience managing field teams in a
multi-site environment Strong working knowledge of residential HVAC
systems and plumbing systems Ability to read and interpret
blueprints, mechanical drawings, and specifications Strong
understanding of mechanical and plumbing codes and inspection
requirements Experience managing budgets, labor forecasting, and
production schedules Excellent organizational, communication, and
problem-solving skills Proficient in construction management
software and Microsoft Office Suite Valid driver’s license with
ability to travel between job sites Required Certifications
Journeyman or Master Plumbing License (required) HVAC License (if
required by local/state regulations) OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
certification (preferred) Physical Requirements Ability to
frequently walk active residential construction sites, including
uneven terrain Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and scaffolding as needed Ability
to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally Ability to bend,
stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead Ability to work in varying
weather conditions (heat, cold, rain) Ability to enter confined
spaces such as attics and crawl spaces when necessary Visual acuity
to review plans, inspect installations, and identify safety or
quality concerns Ability to operate a motor vehicle for travel
between job sites Preferred Experience Experience working directly
with production home builders Multi-community or regional oversight
experience Strong background in quality control and warranty
reduction Experience implementing process improvements in field
operations
