Professional Land Surveyor A leading Multi-Discipline Engineering and Land Surveying Firm in Columbus, Ohio is looking to add a Licensed PLS to the team. The right candidate will be responsible for all phases of survey projects from field to finish, including client contact and relationships. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with project team members including surveyors, engineers, and technical and survey staff. Conduct surveys to determine property boundaries. Verify accuracy of field survey data, including measurements and calculations. Responsible for survey calculations, analysis and map checking, review of title data, record drawings research. Review and process the results of surveys, including the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land features and structures. Research legal records, survey records, and land titles. Supervise field staff to ensure survey accuracy. Prepare and present reports on survey results to clients and stakeholders. Provide mentorship and training to junior project team members as needed. Maintain company standards for the preparation of surveys and mapping documents. Requirements: Professional Land Surveyor License (OH) Bachelor’s degree or an apprenticeship, preferred. 5-10 years of professional Land Surveying experience. Strong proficiency with engineering software including AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
