Enterprise Meeting Services (EMS) is a centralized global meetings
and congresses team that offers best in class, compliant and
seamless execution of meetings and congresses, utilizing efficient
tools and processes to accelerate business requirements and deliver
outstanding customer experiences. We take care of all aspects of
health care providers and employee meetings and congresses for all
business areas such as Marketing, Medical, Sales and others,
delivering an end-to-end support that includes strategic project
management, consultancy, logistics planning and oversight,
contracting, administrative and finance support, vendor management,
on-site execution and facilitate transparency publication.
Responsibilities: The Meetings Associate will play a critical role
in the planning, coordination, and onsite execution of Executive
and Board level meetings and other high-profile events. This
position requires exceptional attention to detail, discretion, and
the ability to manage complex logistics in a fast-paced,
high-stakes environment. The ideal candidate will have experience
in corporate event planning, particularly at the executive level,
and will demonstrate strong communication, project management, and
critical thinking skills. Oversee all logistical aspects of
Executive and Board meetings, including venue selection and
attending site visits, travel arrangements, catering, AV/tech
setup, and security protocols. Serve as the primary liaison between
internal stakeholders, external vendors, and the Executive
Committee Assistants and effectively lead, collaborate, and manage
multiple relationships with external partners to positively impact
the meeting experience. Comply with Global Standards on meetings
and events interactions with external parties and all other
relevant Lilly policies and procedures. Be responsive for audit
readiness and compliance requests. Understand meeting needs by
providing project management expertise and direction to ensure
fulfillment of meeting expectations (including, but not limited to,
a “Run of Show” agenda created for each meeting). Support the
enterprise meeting program through different systems and tools
focused on meeting planning & contracting process. Initiate and
facilitate optimization opportunities connected with processes,
systems, and people. Basic Requirements: Bachelor’s degree
required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and
strong project management skills. Proficiency in tools such as MS
Office 365 Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate meeting
planning, preferably supporting C-suite or Board-level events.

Skills/Preferences: Proficiency in Cvent, Microsoft Teams and
Excel. Ability to create impact at various levels, including
immediate peers and across teams and functions. Demonstrate strong
critical thinking skills and anticipate a range of day-to-day
challenges including standard and non-standard requests. Proven
ability to pivot quickly when necessary and be available to process
multiple options simultaneously. Ability to maintain
confidentiality and professionalism under pressure. Willingness to

on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic
location. The anticipated wage for this position is $57,750 -
$129,800 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a
company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual
performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit
