This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, thriving company where your expertise in general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and Excel will be highly valued. You will be responsible for maintaining financial procedures and ensuring our accounting operations run smoothly. If you thrive in a challenging environment and can expertly handle journal entries, month-end close, and bank reconciliations, we would love to hear from you.Responsibilities:As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for:1. Managing and overseeing all aspects of our accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.2. Performing monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary.3. Conducting accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year end close.4. Preparing and posting journal entries, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the ledger.5. Assisting with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and report variances.6. Utilizing SAP and Excel to optimize accounting practices and company financials.7. Meeting tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation, and the support of budget and forecast activities.8. Collaborating with financial team and other departments to streamline, improve, and automate financial processes.Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the Staff Accountant role should possess the following:1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the Manufacturing industry.2. Proven proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, Excel, SAP, journal entries, month-end close, and bank reconciliations.3. Strong knowledge of financial reporting and familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements.4. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.6. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.7.
