In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing the financial transactions and reporting for our insurance products. • and much more!Job DetailsResponsibilities:
  • Oversee the financial transactions and reporting for our insurance products, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage the month-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
  • Perform statutory reporting duties, ensuring all financial reports are submitted in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary data for financial reporting.
  • Participate in financial audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing any issues or discrepancies.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in financial regulations and standards, implementing any necessary changes in our accounting practices.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on insurance accounting.
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
    • Experience with month-end close processes and statutory reporting.
    • 2+ years of property/casualty insurance or reinsurance experience required.
    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
